PRUDENCIO “Amor” LAMARROZA

Born 1946 in Ilocos Sur.  UST and PWU School of Fine Arts where he got the Most Outstanding Art Student Award.  Also the ITT’s First Worldwide Awardee in New York and participant of the ITT’s International Exhibition in Miami and the Tokyo Biennial.  Included in “Philippine Paintings Old & New” published at the Hague. Tour shows in Washington DC, Seattle, Chicago, LA, Honolulu, Hongkong, Kuala Lumpur and Jakarta under the RP-US Development Council of Art. Participated in the Iraq Arts Festival and shows in Chelsea, England. Exhibited at the National Museum, Ayala Museum,and at  Manila’s best art galleries. An awardee of the Mobil and Kalinangan competitions. Nature, color, river stones are distinct features of Lamarroza’s works.  The abstracts featured here are normally not associated with Lamarroza's works.
