ED BAESA
Born in Hagonoy, Bulacan.  A self-taught artist with minimal fine arts training.  His dexterity was honed when he worked as a movie poster advertising artist.  Movie posters as an art form are a dominant fixture in Manila's skyline.
Exhibits include those at the National Museum (portraits); Manila Artist Group:  Art Channels Kapwa Pilipino; the FEATI University Art Gallery and the Manila Nikko Hotel Gallery.
Essentially a portrait artist, but excels as well at oils, charcoals and pastels.
Conducts painting lessons for Metro Manila's exclusive villages who also collect his paintings.
Feature works in this website include colorful nipa huts, anthuriums and orchids.
